Volunteer Scholarship
Purpose:
The Roatan Health Assistance Project (RHAP) provides a volunteer opportunity that will allow university students majoring in health-related careers to obtain first-hand experiences in an underserved medical community.  By sponsoring service trips to Roatan, Honduras, both the volunteers and Roatan community will benefit.  Not only will volunteers gain knowledge and skills to better global health, but the island’s medical infrastructure will gain much-needed assistance for development and sustainability.
